On behalf of the personnel of the units of the 41st Particular Riflemen Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and myself, I express my boundless gratitude to you for the invaluable help that you have given to us, the service personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in this difficult time of the full-scale invasion by the russian federation of the sovereign territory of Ukraine.
Assistance has been collected by millions of citizens of our country, the residents of large cities and small villages, people of various nationalities and religions.
I bow down before you for your response and understanding of the situation that has befallen our army and our country. In this difficult time, I again emphasize that the Army and the People are united. Ukrainian soldiers will always be on the side of the people and will make every possible effort to preserve the unity and indivisibility of our country.

VISIT TO ODESSA

In October 2015, Svetlana Lunkina played Giselle on the stage of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Ukraine. This was a charity event organized in support of Ukrainian people.

GIFTS TO CHILDREN

1000 DVD disks were given out to the students of various choreographic schools in Russia, including Moscow State Academy of Choreography and Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. These DVD disks were a limited edition videos, created exclusively for students of Russian ballet schools. In these videos, world ballet superstars shared their professional secrets and gave suggestions on how to become successful in ballet.

CHILDREN’S ART WORKS

In 2010-2011 exhibitions of children’s artworks  were organized in State Kremlin Palace. Young artists presented their paintings inspired by ballet, ballerinas and dancers. All participants and their parents received free admissions to Kremlin Galas 2010-2011.
